Quick scouting tip to identify RCR from SDS:

SDS (Fusarium virguliforme): Interveinal chlorosis and necrosis; leaflets often drop off while petioles remain attached.

RCR (Calonectria ilicicola): Similar foliar symptoms but look for brick-red discoloration and red fungal structures at the stem base and roots near the soil line. Often with RCR, entire leaves die and remain intact and dried down, attached to the stem, unlike SDS.
