What are the active ingredients in Acuron GT?

Acuron ® GT corn herbicide contains four powerful active ingredients: bicyclopyrone, glyphosate, mesotrione and S-metolachlor.

What is the difference between Acuron and Acuron GT?

Acuron and Acuron GT both deliver powerful weed control, but they do so through different chemistries and formulations. For example, while both products contain three of the same active ingredients (bicyclopyrone, mesotrione and S-metolachlor), the fourth active ingredient in Acuron is atrazine, and the fourth active ingredient in Acuron GT is glyphosate.

What is the difference between Acuron GT and Halex GT?

Unlike Halex ® GT herbicide, Acuron GT provides a full-season use rate of bicyclopyrone. This allows Acuron GT to deliver faster knockdown, better control and longer-lasting residual. Plus, thanks to its powerful residual, Acuron GT allows growers to control Palmer amaranth and waterhemp up to seven days earlier than Halex GT.

What kinds of weeds does Acuron GT herbicide control and protect against?

Acuron GT corn herbicide controls over 90 different species of grass and broadleaf weeds, including Palmer amaranth, waterhemp, giant ragweed, morningglory, marestail, giant foxtail, kochia, cocklebur and burcucumber.

The bicyclopyrone component of Acuron GT, in combination with mesotrione and its other active ingredients, helps provide enhanced control of yield-robbing weeds. And due to its longer-lasting residual control, it’s the only post-emergence corn herbicide that will deliver more bushels per acre than any other post-emergence-plus-residual corn herbicide.
