A new active ingredient belonging to IRAC Group 30 is anticipated to be available to growers soon as five different insecticide products to provide protection against a broad spectrum of agricultural pests across a variety of crops.
Upon registration, this active ingredient is anticipated to be available as: Equento® insecticide seed treatment, Incipio™ insecticide, Opello™ insecticide, Vertento® insecticide and Zivalgo™ insecticide. These products are intended to help manage insect pests in cotton, vegetables, field corn, tree fruit crops, cereals and more. The active ingredient, isocycloseram (IRAC Group 30), will act by contact and ingestion, providing rapid feeding cessation and a resistance management option.
